Tribeca Businesses circa 1986

Just for fun, passing along this map of Tribeca Businesses from 1986 that was dug up by Tribeca Citizen. What jumps out first, of course, is a reminder of the prominence of the World Trade Center, it's buildings looming over the neighborhood in the foreground. In looking at the addresses of the Tribeca businesses that paid to advertise on the map, you see how many businesses that served the neighborhood were a part of the World Trade Center complex.
On a lighter note, it's fun to see who our old neighbors were--something called "From Fruit to Nuts" and the "Tortola Hair Salon" were close by to our therapy office. I do recognize two neighbors that are still around--Chambers Street Pottery to our west and Camp and Trail Outfitters to the south of Tribeca Therapy just north of the World Trade Center. Any Tribeca/ WTC old-timers recognize any old neighborhood friends?
